In Pakistan, very few people know about kitchen gardening because vegetable consumption is less in the country. The vegetable consumption in Pakistan is only 50 gm/day/person as compared to the international standard of 300-450gms/day/person. Kitchen gardening plays an important role in maintaining human health because vegetables purchased from the market carry pesticides home, which are very fatal to human health. Kitchen gardening retains the potential for handling food and health for the vast population. The obvious benefits linked with household Kitchen gardens, such as pesticides free produced and accessible at the doorstep on one side and the other hand, herbs, and vegetables having high nutritional values. If these vegetables are grown in the Kitchen garden household can be able to get a balanced diet to provide a healthy society.

 All vegetables need sunlight. The kitchen gardening should receive at least 7-8 hours of direct sunlight per day.

 *Avoid operating in the soil when it is too wet.                                 *Max component manure.

In addition, these pickles can last for many months without a refrigerator. Other items can be dried like tomatoes, onion, spinach, and fenugreek. Carrot jams, carrot juices sweet potato cakes, sweet potato chapatti, garlic paste, and tomato ketchup can extract from the vegetables of Kitchen gardening.
